Hi, Thank you for visiting my Teddy Bear website.

My name is Jane,
I made my first bear in 1997 and after many attempts and some funny mistakes, my creations started to resemble teddy bears and not just stuffed piles of fur bits sewn together, with eyes attached.

I started with a commercially bought pattern and practiced my sewing skills until I felt confident enough to sew and sculpture a properly made mohair teddy bear. I found many different bear patterns from a variety of sources and experimented with different shapes and sizes. I have always been interested in sewing and stitching but never dreamt that making Teddy Bears would be so enjoyable.

Now, the Teddy Bears are slowly growing in number and are gradually taking over the house. Thank heaven for an understanding family!!

Since discovering the internet and the many Teddy Bear sites out there, I have, with interest, been watching and learning from other like minded people. I would, at this point like to say a VERY BIG THANK YOU AND HUGS to all who have helped and given advice to me over the years.
